I've recently resumed video production, a combination of factors including the pandemic's lingering effects, a new video setup, and the realization of its benefits for CodePen. It's enjoyable to revisit this familiar workflow.

My videos are primarily hosted on my website's dedicated Videos section, offering a complete archive. A YouTube channel also exists for easier subscription. We're aiming for Wes Bos-level subscriber count, so join us!

I've also maintained an RSS feed for video podcasting on platforms like iTunes, a feature I'd almost forgotten about. This surprisingly allows for offline viewing through podcast apps' caching capabilities. Why develop an app when this core functionality is readily available?

The original video files are kept safe in an S3 bucket. Each video page displays a YouTube player, easily replaceable if necessary.

My video workflow still relies on ScreenFlow, a user-friendly, reliable, and fast application with plenty of room for improvement. Screen recording is built-in, and I use a Rode Podcaster on a boom arm for decent audio. I've also integrated a DSLR camera for enhanced video quality. Ironically, my dedicated sound booth with a high-end audio setup is only used for podcasting due to poor lighting.

My new desk setup has significantly boosted my video production, and I anticipate its continuation. However, I'm in need of a new, high-quality (around five-second) intro video with a modern aesthetic. Anyone interested in this type of work?
