In InZoi, your digital pet, the Zoi, will have its own desires and needs beyond basic care. These are manifested as "Urges," temporary wishes that, when fulfilled, reward you with Meow Coins and grant your Zoi beneficial emotional states.

Understanding Urges:

Urges are short-lived aspirations. Completing them earns Meow Coins (spendable in the Meow Store) and boosts your Zoi's emotional well-being. For instance, fulfilling a painting urge leads to a tranquil state, while fixing items results in concentration. Your Zoi can have up to four active Urges at once, displayed above their portrait.

What Influences Urges?

Urges stem from a combination of factors:

• Zoi Traits (chosen during creation): These establish initial values and preferences.
• Learned Values and Ambitions: These develop through actions and choices within the game. Frequent painting, for example, might increase the likelihood of a "Wants to Paint" urge.

Clicking on an urge provides details on its origin and rewards. Your Zoi's current values are visible on their Zoi card.

For example, a Dreamer Trait might lead to an "Appreciates Art" urge (resulting in a concentrated state), while a "Wants to Use Public Bathrooms Properly" urge might derive from a developed value.

Completing Urges:

Simple urges (like singing or admiring art) require purchasing and placing the necessary items in Build Mode. For more complex, probability-based urges (like playing with fire or getting into fights), manipulate city settings via the "Manage City" option (accessible through your in-game smartphone):

• Reduce Fire Prevention Rate: Increases fire likelihood.
• Reduce Preventative Maintenance Rate: Increases the chance of items breaking.
• Reduce City Safety: Increases the likelihood of violent encounters.
