Acquiring Your Dragon
To get a dragon, you must first obtain a dragon egg.
Buying a Dragon Egg
Travel to Magic Town (via taxi or the Hole In The Ground) and find Vicki Vampiress' cart, "All Things Draconic." Purchase the "Dragon Nest" for 49 MagiCoins.

Vicki's cart is located on two lots in Calamity Forest:

Dragon Egg Cost and Types
Dragon eggs cost 49 MagiCoins. Three dragon types exist:

| Pyritie | Yellow | More reserved, but still prone to fire hazards. |
| Torch | Purple | Calmest, least likely to cause fires. |
The dragon's color depends on interaction with the egg. Minimal interaction results in a red dragon, while frequent interaction (cradling, rotating, playing music) yields a purple dragon. Yellow dragons fall between these extremes.
Hatching and Care
Hatching takes approximately two days. You cannot buy pre-hatched dragons.
Dragons have three needs: Hunger, Energy, and Fun. They eat dragon treats, spoiled food, garbage, and sometimes pet food.
Neglect can cause dragons to leave or, worse, set fires, potentially harming your Sims. Dragons are immortal, but your Sims are not!
Dragon Benefits and Resources
Dragons provide Dragon Scales and Dragon Tears, valuable resources in Magic Town.
Obtaining Dragon Scales
Grooming your dragon sometimes yields scales, sellable for 21 MagiCoins or used in child-specific spells (Get Happy Jr., Clone Drone Jr., Age of Instant).
Obtaining Dragon Tears
Tickling your dragon may produce Dragon Tears, sellable for 24 MagiCoins or used in various spells and charms (Enchant Jr., Smiley Face Jr., Lovestruck, Clone Drone Jr., No More Puddles). Additional ingredients are required for these spells.
