When printing web forms using JavaScript, you sometimes find that the user's modified content is not reflected in the print preview. This is because getting form HTML directly (for example using .prop("outerHTML") ) cannot capture real-time user input. For example, the text box content or check box status may not be correctly reflected.

The problem is that directly obtaining HTML cannot update dynamically modified content in real time. To solve this problem, you need to use the cloneNode(true) method to clone the form node, ensuring that the cloned node contains all the latest user input and state changes.

Here is an improved code example that demonstrates how to solve this problem using cloneNode(true) :
