It's more streamlined, features autosaving, enhanced text editing capabilities, and, importantly, supports tabs and dark mode.

My initial concerns about it becoming overly complex proved unfounded; Microsoft successfully enhanced Notepad without sacrificing its simplicity.

Hesitations about upgrading to Windows 11 are understandable. While Windows 10 support continues until October, I strongly recommend considering the switch (or exploring Linux alternatives).
