There's no shortage of treasure though, and Katol Elixirs give you a way of increasing your HP beyond just leveling up. There is a decent few of them to find in the game, and here's where to find each and every one.

What Do Katol Elixirs Do?

Every Katol Elixir in the game is optional, meaning if you choose to beeline it to the end of the game, you might miss them entirely. There are a decent few for you to find though, and their effect is definitely worth the extra hassle.

Katol Elixirs are a once-off item that give you a permanent increase to your HP. It's only an extra 5HP, though that adds up when you gather all of them since your health pool tends to remain relatively small throughout the whole game. There's no downside to them, so chug them the second you get them.

Katol Elixirs do not restore all of your HP upon use, so there's no using them in dangerous situations for a quick HP refill either.

Where To Find Every Katol Elixir

Across the full length of Oath in Felghana, there are a guaranteed six Katol Elixirs you can acquire, with the remainder being a recurring source. At Cynthia's Shop in Redmont, you can purchase a Katol Elixir from her, though they increase in price with each one bought, from 10,000 to 20,000, 30,000 and so on.

Katol Elixir #3	Zone of Lava	Travel west of the Topside warp point and then go north until you enter a small cave with the chest. Requires Double Jump.
Katol Elixir #4	Elderm Mountain	On a cliff just before entering the interior of the mountain.
Katol Elixir #5	Elderm Mountain	In the side-scrolling section before the Icebound Cave.
Katol Elixir #6	Hugo Quest	A reward for giving Hugo all the Berm Leaves found in Elderm Mountain.
Katol Elixir (Recurring)	Cynthia's Shop, Redmont	Costs an increasing 10,000 Gold each time.

The third Katol Elixir in the Zone of Lava is the sole one that you cannot acquire on your first visit, and the area itself is quite easily missed.

With all of the guaranteed Katol Elixirs, you are given an extra 30 HP, and more beyond that for each one you can afford to purchase from Cynthia.
