The Mystery, A Free Spirit, offers a delightful distraction from the stolen relic hunt and beating fascists to a pulp, where you'll have to photograph a specific feline lounging on the rooftops.

How To Start A Free Spirit Mystery

A Free Spirit becomes available once the Vatican opens up for exploration. You'll need to inspect the Mystery Note on the noticeboard located across from the Vatican Post Office and opposite the Tower of Nicholas V to pick up the quest.

You'll find some scaffolding at the other end of the area, which you can climb using the ladders to reach the rooftops. On the roof, walk a little further and turn right. You'll find Signor Smushki sitting near the wall between two windows.
