Last minute Redmi Note 14 leak reveals a differently designed phone than Pro models
The Redmi Note 14 series will be fully unveiled later todayin China. Like the previous lineup, the new series will have three phones, and Xiaomi has already officially showcased the Pro and Pro models. A last-minute leak has now shown off the alleged design of the series' non-Pro smartphone.
As the leaked image shows, the standard Redmi Note 14 will have a different design than the Pro models. It looks very similar to the phones of the Note 13 series, and unlike the Pro variants, the standard smartphone has a dual camera setup on the back. The primary camera is expected to be a 50 MP sensor, while the secondary camera could be an 8 MP ultra-wide.
Besides that, the vanilla Redmi Note 14 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7050 with up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage and up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The internals are said to be powered by a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging (Anker Prime 67W curr. $44.99 on Amazon).
Regarding the screen, past leaks suggest that it will be a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. This FHD panel is said to have a peak brightness rating of up to 1800 nits. The standard Redmi Note 14 may also miss out on the IP69 rating. It could come with an IP64 dust and water resistance rating instead.
