New Xiaomi Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater S1 with HyperOS arrives
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater S1 has been launched in China. The smart home product is designed to be mounted on the ceiling and is multifunctional, providing heating, ventilation and light.
The Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater S1 uses graphene PTC heating film with 2,800W power to quickly warm the room. Plus, the device can act as a smart thermostat, automatically switching off the heating when the desired temperature is reached. The heating and ventilation are combined by a dual DC variable frequency motor, with a circulation rate of 240³m (~8,475 ft) per hour. At the center of the device is a 24W light panel using full spectrum LED beads to simulate natural light. The product comes with a 3.5-inch LED digital display, allowing you to adjust settings. Alternatively, you can control the heat, light and ventilation through the Mijia app or with Xiao AI voice commands. The device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS and measures 620 x 320 mm (~24.4 x 12.6 inches).
You can now buy the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater S1 in China with an introductory offer, lowering the 899 yuan (~$126) RRP to 849 yuan (~$119). This offer is expected to run until October 5th. However, it remains to be seen whether or when the heater could launch in markets such as Europe, where the company sells other smart home products for the bathroom, like the Body Composition Scale S400.
