Lenovo's LOQ lineup is geared for gamers on a budget. It mostly has decently-specced gaming laptops that don't cost as much as the high-end Legion options. With deals, these systems can get even cheaper. Speaking of which, the LOQ 15IRX9 with Intel Core i5 13450HX and Nvidia RTX 4050 can now be scored for $599.99.
To get it at that price, all you need to do is use the "BUYMORELENOVO" and "CrazyLegion" coupon codes during checkout. This will result in a $480 discount from what the gaming laptop usually goes for.
We reviewed the same exact Lenovo LOQ 15 model, but our unit featured the RTX 4060. Another difference is the RAM and storage. The laptop that's on sale comes with 12 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512 GB SSD, while our unit had 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. But the good news is that you can upgrade both of them later down the line (2 TB Samsung 990 Evo curr. $129.99 on Amazon).
Besides those, all the other aspects of the SKU on sale are the same as the Lenovo LOQ 15IRX9 we reviewed. That means you get the same matte FHD display that we praised in our review. It's a 15.6-inch IPS panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, G-Sync support, and 100% sRGB coverage.
The 2024 LOQ also has a sleek design for a budget-friendly gaming laptop. There are a decent number of ports as well, but it doesn't have a Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 port.
