Black Myth: Wukong How to Open Purple Locks in Prison Chapter 3

In Chapter 3 of Black Myth Wukong, you will go through a prison in the Pagoda Realm. You will notice there are many cells with purple locks / seals on them that can’t be opened on the first visit.

How to break the locks: All locks are immediately removed when beating the boss “Captain Lotus-Vision”. He is well hidden and easy to overlook.

1. In Chapter 3 reach the shrine Pagoda Realm – Upper Pagoda. This is on the mandatory main story path, you can’t miss it. It’s the second shrine in the prison, after “Lower Pagoda”.
2. From “Upper Pagoda” shrine, turn around. Directly across from the shrine, drop down the cliff and you’ll reach this hidden boss inside a prison cell.
3. Defeat the “Captain Lotus-Vision” boss. Immediately when defeating him ALL purple locks in the prison get removed. You can now backtrack and open any prison cells that were previously locked.
