ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM: Acer Predator X39 and LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE alternative released in US with UK and Eurozone launches to follow
It has been a while since ASUS revealed the ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM. Specifically, the company unveiled the monitor during CES 2024 in January alongside the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP and ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP, which it has since released.
However, it seemed that the ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM was running behind for one reason or another, with ASUS informing Prad.de in April that the monitor would probably remain unavailable until the summer. Although the company has not officially communicated anything since, it has quietly started selling the monitor in the US through its eShop and Amazon US for $1,499.
Additionally, it seems that retailers have received pricing information in other markets too, such as the UK and the Eurozone. However, third parties like Scan in the UK or Amazon in Germany have either not started selling the ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM yet or are offering it at inflated prices. As far as we can tell, ASUS intends to offer the monitor for €1,599.90 in the Eurozone and £1,398.98 in the UK. By contrast, the ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM retails for $1,499 in the US.
Ultimately, the ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM appears to utilise the same 1440p and 240 Hz WOLED panel as theAcer Predator X39andLG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE(curr. $996.99 on Amazon). Thus, ASUS' new 39-inch monitor also peaks at 1,300 nits, offers low response times, an 800R curvature and excellent colour space coverage. With that being said, ASUS insists that it has equipped the ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM with a custom heatsink that is designed to mitigate excess heat and OLED burn-in. Please seeASUS' product pagefor further details.
