Google Pixel Watch 3 confirmed to launch with 2,000-nit Actua display and faster charging through fresh leaks
Plenty of information has been revealed about Google's next smartwatch release in recent weeks. For example, thePixel Watch 2(curr. $330 on Amazon) was expected to be replaced by the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Watch 3 XL until recently. However, Android Headlines claimed to have received information stating otherwise earlier this week.
Now, the website has shared evidence that appears to verify its previous assertion. Based on leaked promotional images that we have embedded below, Google intends to sell two smartwatch sizes under the same name, just like Apple and Samsung before it. Additionally, Google will mark the inclusion of 2,000-nit displays by bringing across its 'Actua' display branding from recent Pixel smartphones.
Moreover, Google will rate the Pixel Watch 3 41 mm and Pixel Watch 3 45 mm for up to 24 hours of battery life, or 36 hours with battery saver mode enabled. Furthermore, the company will advertise only the smaller variant as supporting '20% faster charging' compared to thePixel Watch 2. Potentially, the larger Pixel Watch 3 45 mm will charge just as quickly as its 41 mm sibling, though.
Conversely, both Pixel Watch 3 smartwatches will offer 'Advanced running metrics', which stretches to being able to set customised routes and compete against past personal records. Google will continue to include minimal accessories with its smartwatches though, as another image below shows. Similarly, the company will sell a variety of first-party watch bands, four of which can be seen in a separate image. Currently, Google is expected to release both Pixel Watch sizes on August 13 alongside thePixel Buds Pro 2and fourPixel 9 series smartphones.
The above is the detailed content of Google Pixel Watch 3 confirmed to launch with 2,000-nit Actua display and faster charging through fresh leaks. For more information, please follow other related articles on the PHP Chinese website!
