FILLiquid Participates in the Landmark FIL Brussels Event Exploring AI, DePIN, and Compute

FILLiquid is proud to announce that it has participated in the FIL Brussels event in Belgium this week, organized by the Filecoin Foundation.

The event, organized by the Filecoin Foundation, featured speakers from key players within the Filecoin ecosystem. It also included networking opportunities and discussions on the future of AI, DePIN, and Compute.

The FIL Brussels event, which ran from July 8 to 11, saw Filecoin community members, developers, and enthusiasts gather in Brussels for a series of talks, workshops, and networking events. The event also featured some exclusive announcements from within the Filecoin ecosystem.

The event was organized by the Filecoin Foundation, and it took place in conjunction with EthCC, which was also held in the same region during the same week. Together, the two events brought thousands of Web3 enthusiasts to the Belgian capital.

The summit was primarily designed for developers and members of the Filecoin ecosystem to engage in discussions and share the latest insights into their projects. Among the speakers at the event were representatives from Filecoin Foundations, POKT Network, SingularityNet, Akave, Akash, and FILLiquid.

One of the notable panel discussions at the event covered the possibilities of Decentralized Compute, Storage, and AI, and it featured representatives from Akash Network, Agave, Fluence, and the Filecoin Foundation.

There was also a Fireside Chat with Alex Blagirev from SingularityNET and Yan Bo Ng from Filecoin Foundation, which covered Empowering AI and DePIN Without Sacrificing Decentralization. The closing keynote was delivered by Molly Mackinlay from Protocol Labs and FilOz, and it discussed the upcoming Filecoin Upgrades and Opportunities in 2024.

FILLiquid also attended FIL Brussels, and its CEO, Arthur Tan, had his own speaking slot on the opening day of the event.

Tan took to the stage to deliver a talk titled “FiLLiquid: Filecoin’s Next Generation Liquidity Leasing Solutions.” During his talk, the CEO covered FILLiquid’s groundbreaking leasing solution, providing an in-depth overview of how it helps push sustainable storage power growth on Filecoin.

As a $FIL liquidity pool, FILLiquid stands out with its unique feature that connects $FIL holders with storage providers. It allows $FIL holders to easily earn a passive income by leasing $FIL to a liquidity pool for storage providers to secure loans.

Designed to ease the financial burdens of storage providers, FILLiquid promotes sustainable storage power growth by allowing them to utilize locked liquidity to secure $FIL loans. Storage providers can bind their miner nodes, which contain $FIL pledges, to the smart contract, allowing them to use them as collateral to secure loans to expand their storage business.

The protocol is completely open-sourced, allowing anybody to review the code line by line. In addition, FILLiquid has undergone two third-party security audits from high-profile cybersecurity firms such as Salus and CertiK, ensuring the utmost security for users.

The FILLiquid Incentivized Testnet is now in its final days, presenting a last-minute opportunity to participate and secure a free $FIG airdrop. This is a great chance to get a head start and be a part of a growing community.

The testnet will officially close at 10:00 am (GMT) on July 16, 2024. The testnet allows FILLiquid to test its unique Filecoin-based products in a live environment before pushing the protocol to the mainnet.

Those participating in the testnet will be eligible to have their wallets included in a snapshot that will distribute a portion of its utility token, $FIG, once the mainnet launches.
