New Adventure Effects Arrive in Pokémon GO with the Appearance of Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma

The emergence of Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma in Pokémon GO has led to the discovery of two new Adventure Effects!

Two new Adventure Effects have been discovered in Pokémon GO with the arrival of Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma. These powerful Pokémon attacks can be activated outside of battle to grant temporary bonus effects that will aid Trainers on their Pokémon GO adventure.

Four Adventure Effects have now been reported in Pokémon GO, including Spacial Rend and Roar of Time. Could there be more to come?

Adventure Effect: Sunsteel Strike

Necrozma fused with Solgaleo into Dusk Mane Necrozma will know the Charged Attack Sunsteel Strike. It cannot be learnt via Elite TM or Charged TM.

Trainers can activate Sunsteel Strike’s Adventure Effect by using 3,000 Stardust and 3 Necrozma Candy, which harnesses the power of sunlight for 10 minutes. During this time, Pokémon that typically appear during daytime will be attracted to your location, similar to the effect of Incense. Additionally, Pokémon that can only evolve during daytime will be able to evolve at any time while this Adventure Effect is active.

Watch out for Rockruff that can evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc—if you’re fortunate!

You can extend the timer for Sunsteel Strike’s Adventure Effect in increments of 10 minutes by using more Stardust and Necrozma Candy. The timer can be extended up to two hours each time you tap Use, and you can tap Use again to add additional time—up to 24 hours total.

Sunsteel Strike cannot be active at the same time as another Adventure Effect, an Incense, a Daily Adventure Incense, the Mystery Box, or the Coin Bag.

Adventure Effect: Moongeist Beam

Necrozma fused with Lunala into Dawn Wings Necrozma will know the Charged Attack Moongeist Beam. It cannot be learnt via Charged TM or Elite TM.

Trainers can activate the Moongeist Beam’s Adventure Effect by using 3,000 Stardust and 3 Necrozma Candy, which harnesses the power of moonlight for 10 minutes. During this time, Pokémon that typically appear during nighttime will be attracted to your location, similar to the effect of Incense. Additionally, Pokémon that can only evolve during nighttime will be able to evolve at any time while this Adventure Effect is active.

Encounter Necrozma and obtain Fusion Energy by battling Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma in five-star raids throughout Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global.

Fuse Necrozma with either Lunala or Solgaleo to obtain Dawn Wings Necrozma or Dusk Mane Necrozma, respectively. Upon fusing, Dawn Wings Necrozma will learn Moongeist Beam, and Dusk Mane Necrozma will learn Sunsteel Strike, enabling you to activate the Adventure Effects described above.
