

PM Modi interacts with 20 startups in Srinagar, appreciates their efforts in transforming J&K\'s entrepreneurial landscape
Much to the delight of the entrepreneurial landscape of Jammu & Kashmir, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi interacted with 20 startups including 10 startups
Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with 20 startups from Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, including 10 identified by the J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) during the ‘Empowering Youth, Transforming J&K’ program at SKICC.
The Prime Minister visited the stalls of 20 startups and interacted with them at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC). Of these, 10 startups were identified by JKEDI.
Taking to his ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi wrote: “Yesterday in Srinagar, I had the opportunity to meet talented youngsters of Jammu and Kashmir who are doing pioneering work in StartUps.”
These startups, identified from both Kashmir and Jammu divisions, include M/s Turan & Tarub by Sheela Imran, M/s Cheese Cottage Homestay by Insha Shabir, M/s Curve Electric by Sheikh Yameen, M/s Studio Agama by Rahul Bhola, M/s Rach Smart Solutions by Atul Banotra, M/s Daskdan Innovations by Naveed Chiken, M/s Via ENS by Arush Mahajan, M/s Hackers Pathshala by Risheek Kumar, M/s CLMRAT by Manik Bandral, and M/s SAP Aerospace by Ayush Divyansh.
These startups shared their stories of inclination towards entrepreneurship, innovation, and the drive that pushed them to come forward and contribute towards the entrepreneurial landscape of Jammu & Kashmir through their respective startups. The Prime Minister appreciated their efforts and urged them to work harder for the collective development of Jammu & Kashmir and the country.
Meanwhile, as a token of appreciation, these 10 startups were felicitated today with the mementos on behalf of Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) by the Chief Secretary J&K, Atul Dulloo, (IAS), Commissioner/Secretary Industries and Commerce Department, Vikramjit Singh (IPS), and Director JKEDI, Rajinder Kumar Sharma (JKAS) at Kashmir Government Arts Emporium, Srinagar.
