Specs and official images revealed for next Motorola 5G smartphone
The Moto G85 has leaked several times in the last few weeks through various sources, most recently at a European retailer that YTECHB spotted and brought to people's attention. Now, Sudhanshu Ambhore has delivered what appears to be the device's full specification sheet across a series of tweets.
As expected, the Moto G85 utilises the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, an overclocked Snapdragon 695. As such, the Moto G85 effectively uses the same chipset as its predecessor, the Moto G84 (curr. $229.99 on Amazon). Additionally, Motorola is said to have paired the mid-range chipset with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 30 W wired charging and a choice of 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM.
With that being said, the Moto G85 will only be available with 256 GB of storage, as YTECHB's leak suggested. Moreover, Motorola has included an OLED display outputs at 1080p and 120 Hz while measuring 6.67-inches across. On top of that, the handset is expected to land with the following camera sensors, all within a 171 g and 161.91 x 73.06 x 7.59 mm housing:
- Primary: 50 MP, Sony IMX882, f/1.79 aperture, 1,6 μm pixel width (4-in-1 pixel binning), PDAF, OIS
- Ultra-wide: 8 MP, f/2.2, 118.6° FoV, 1/4.0 optical format, 1.12 µm pixel width, AF
- Front-facing: 32 MP, f/2.45, 0.7 µm
