YouTube tests new AI function for live streams and other features
YouTube is constantly testing new functions to optimize the user experience. An AI-powered live chat summary has been in the test phase since June 13, 2024. According to YouTube, only a small percentage of English-speaking livestream viewers will have access to the test phase. Those who are allowed to try out the AI function will see a banner in the live chat indicating the availability of the summaries. Feedback can be given via the three-point menu in the live chat.
