


Microsoft announces Proteus Controller game controller for people with disabilities
Microsoft announced the launch of the Proteus Controller, a game controller for people with disabilities, which will be released this fall for $299.
The controller is designed as a modular kit, launched by peripheral device company ByoWave, and is part of the Designed for Xbox program. The modular controller is composed of a small cube with a replaceable panel. The panel includes controller buttons, direction keys and rocker.
The handle can be freely combined with connection forms and button mapping, and is suitable for players with one hand and other handicapped players. It currently supports Xbox and PC. As for the PS and NS platforms, although it is not supported yet, Microsoft has expressed its willingness to cooperate and be compatible with them.
