According to the latest report from market research company Omdia, South Korea's Samsung Electronics once again maintained its leading position in global TV sales, becoming the champion for the 18th consecutive year. The report shows that Samsung’s share of the global TV market will reach 30.1% in 2023. This result demonstrates Samsung's continued strength and success in the TV industry and solidifies its leading position in the market.

Samsung offers a wide range of product lines, ranging from affordable LCD TVs to high-end Micro LED TVs. As of 2023, Samsung has sold 8.31 million QLED and Neo QLED TVs, and has sold more than 44 million QLED TVs since it was first launched in 2017.

According to our understanding, Samsung still maintains its leading position in the ultra-high-end TV market (prices exceeding US$2,500 and sizes larger than 75 inches), with a market share of 60.5%, an increase of 12.2 percentage points from 2022. Steady in first place.

Since the launch of its first OLED TV in 2022, Samsung has sold more than 1 million OLED TVs and has a market share of 22.7%. Samsung expects sales of OLED TVs to continue growing as more size options are launched this year.
